MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. This album peaked at 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he found his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
